| He graduated from Medical School in 1991 and went on to do a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation both at Loma Linda University. His interests led him to complete a fellowship in Pain Management in 1996.
Dr. Kim remained at Loma Linda University as an assistant Professor in the PM&R and Anesthesia departments until 2002 when he joined the Haider Spine Center. He has broad interests ranging from Sports Medicine/Performance Medicine to Traumatic Brain Injury.
Dr. Kim focuses on musculoskeletal pathologies, functional recovery and disability management. He is the spinal injectionist and Director of Physical Therapy for Haider Spine Center, he performs a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Dr. Kim grew up in west Texas and has a very easy going demeanor and is well received by his patients. His insights and problem-solving skills lead to quick resolutions for issues that can occur at many different levels.
He is experienced with the California Workers’ Comp system and was instrumental in setting up Occupational Health Center at Loma Linda University Medical Center prior to joining the Haider Spine Center.
Dr. Kim is now the Medical Director of the River Crest Occupational Clinic, which is located in the same building as the Haider Spine Center. The new clinic is an urgent care providing services to newly injured workers and performing Pre-employment and DOT Physical Examinations. The clinic provides a needed service to the area workers and employers.
He remains involved with the Haider Spine Patients as he continues with the diagnostic and therapeutic spinal injections and treatments
